Anglesey delegation at Westminster led by island’s MP Albert Owen MP to discuss Wylfa Newydd and Amlwch REHAU. Mr Owen will meet with the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and senior management of the REHAU plastics firm. The talks follow the recent postponement by Hitatchi of the Wylfa Newydd nuclear development and the proposed closure of REHAU. The Labour MP, who recently called for a fresh economic plan and strategy for Anglesey and wider North Wales economy, is stepping up pressure on the UK and Welsh Governments for help.
