Lincolnshire nuclear dump agency says £1,000-a-day for chairman is market rate for “high calibre” people. The agency behind a scheme to bury nuclear waste deep beneath the sea bed off the Lincolnshire coast insists the chairman of a working group is worth his £1,000-a-day rate. Former Labour Nottingham City Council leader Jon Collins was chosen to chair the group tasked with examining the Theddlethorpe Geological Facility last month.
