Efforts to make it easier to charge electric vehicles (EVs) using any public charging point received a boost last week with the unveiling of new legislation in the House of Commons last week. The Electric Vehicles (Standardised Recharging) Bill was introduced as a Private Members Bill by Conservative MP Bill Wiggin, with a view to ensuring all EV chargers use a standardised payment method and charging socket across the UK.
