UNIONS and politicians described the news that around 200 jobs are expected to go at the Dounreay nuclear plant in Caithness over the next year as “disappointing”. Dounreay Site Restoration Limited (DSRL), the company decommissioning the site, said a voluntary redundancy programme had been opened up because a number of projects were nearing completion.
