This morning we had an update on the radiation remediation works in Dalgety Bay from the MOD. I’m yet again astounded by the lack of progress and the continued mishandling of this project by the MOD and their appointed contractors, Balfour Beatty. SEPA confirmed quite explicitly that NO APPLICATION HAS BEEN MADE. SEPA confirmed that when an application is made, it would still be subject to a turnaround period of up to 4 months.
