A group campaigning against new nuclear power stations held a protest over plans for Bradwell B. The Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND) took a stand outside the former power station earlier this month. It was the first stop for the group on the East Anglian leg of its Symbol Tour of Britain to mark its 60th anniversary. On the day the campaigners, led by David Polden, placed a large CND symbol outside the station, which is now being decommissioned, to protest against nuclear power and nuclear weapons.
