ONE of the last residents living under the shadow of the Wylfa Newydd nuclear power plant has spoken of the impact the proposed development has taken on her life and award winning business. Katie Hayward, of Felin Honey Bees, fears losing her ancestral farm and bee keeping business, as plans for the proposed construction in 2020 move a step nearer. In January, 2018,there are plans for some minor initial site clearance work of scheduled. Katie, known as “Anglesey’s Queen Bee,” says the strain on her and her family, to keep her home and business, has led her at times to depths of despair has she says she has even contemplated suicide.
