US company Solar Alliance has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Empire Cinemas, who own Odeon and Cineworld. The project will ultimately generate 2.8MW on the cinema sites, helping the company lower its carbon emission. The companies will complete site design and financial modeling for each of the 14 potential cinema sites, and then negotiate a Project Development Agreement for the construction of each individual project. The agreement is the largest project portfolio in the company’s near-team pipeline, with a value of $5.6 million.
